Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:  LC 33 6481   Permits, for the school year 2016-2017 only, a local school system to participate in a pilot program in which the local school system consolidates its federal, state, and local funds as part of a school-wide program. The local school system will not be required to report expenditures of state and local funds separately from federal funds and may instead report expenditures of consolidated federal, state, and local funds.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
